We look forward to seeing both continuing and new learners on Tuesdays 10.30 – 12.00 noon when the new term starts on 7th January 2014.
We are still one of the 7 UK Online Centres funded specifically to assist carers, but space permitting, all adults are welcome to attend.
- Job hunting online
Job hunting can be difficult, and these days lots of jobs are only advertised online. This can mean if you’re not confident using computers you could be missing out on lots of great opportunities. The internet can act as a big “help wanted” board, bringing together all of the different vacancies that are out there. By finding out how to search for them you can make sure you never miss out on the perfect job again.
- Jobs and interviews
The internet is a great place to find all the information you need to prepare for an interview and perfect your CV. It brings together advice from lots of different places to help you make the best choices.
- Into work
If you’ve used this website to brush up on your computer and internet skills, and even find out about job hunting online, you might want to continue using the internet to help you find a new job. There are loads of fantastic websites out there, here are just a few. What would you like to do next? You can use the Directgov site to search for jobs.
We look forward to meeting lots of you in Devizes on November 29th.
